vista beta 2 media center

Does Media Center give you the option to work through a Set Top Box? So far, it hasn't given me that option.

i don't have a set top box but media center did scan for one when i went through the media center setup....

have just installed vista 2 media center, all works ok, except i have a problem with media center when clicking on the icon i just get a black screen with out of sync. and nothing can be done other than a system restore.
i have a pinnacle 300i tv card - drivers from microsoft update nvidia 6600 - drivers from microsoft update sharp 19" lcd monitor set at 1280 x 1024
any help appreciated - only got 13 days left of activation

Why not just activate it and get another year?
